Youth Camp

Join us as we delve into the world, contemplating meaningful responses to our global crisis while researching methods to build trust among us, using creative ways to express our ideas, passion, and joy for a future we can believe in.

Overview

We invite young people between the ages of 14 and 17 to join us for 10 days at our Children’s Place for a comprehensive community experience, guided by our team of youth facilitators. In light of the fragility of our current capitalist system and the disruptions caused by global climate change, the need to develop alternative cultures is clear. We find ourselves at a pivotal moment where we can decide on our future.

What you’ll learn

We will focus on the topics of water, community, and our current political system, deepening our understanding through discussions among the youth and with experts in various sub-groups.

The youth camp offers an intense community experience with opportunities for sharing, listening, and reflecting together. We will use the Forum, participate in sharing rounds, and explore a mix of creative styles and formats to build trust and discover more about who we are, our highest potential, and what matters to us in these times.

Participants will also learn about the inspiring work of peace workers and activists from around the world, as well as the peace and community knowledge of the Tamera Healing Biotope.

If you want a glimpse of what to expect at the camp, please check out our previous camps.
